Battle of the Belts X will feature an international title eliminator match.
Romero said in a promo for Collision that he has won titles in Mexico, Japan and now he is looking to win a title with AEW. He said he knew he couldn’t just walk in and get a title match due to AEW rankings, so he challenged Roderick Strong for an International title elimination match. Strong appeared next and said that he would accept Romero’s challenge, even though he believes Romero only has a one-percent chance of beating him.
Battle of the Belts X was officially announced after the match. This will air at 10pm ET immediately following next week’s Collision.
Battle of the Belts IX took place on January 13th. On January 13, Battle of the Belts IX was held.
