NJPW has announced the first match of its Wrestledynasty show, which will be held on January 5 with AEW ROH CMLL and Stardom.
The current IWGP World Heavyweight champion Zack Sabre Jr., will face AEW Ricochet in the first official match for the Sunday, 5th January 2025 card at Tokyo Dome. This is the second of two consecutive night at the Dome. Wrestle King 19 will take place the day before.
Sabre will be the main event of Wrestle Kingdom 19. He will defend the IWGP World Heavyweight Title against Shota umino in a match announced during Wednesday’s Wrestle Kingdom 19 Presser.
If Sabre wins at Wrestle Kingdom, it is not known if his title will be on stake.
