On NJPW’s Road to Sakura Genesis Tour, a title match will take place.
NJPW announced that Great-O-Khan would defend his KOPW 2024 Championship in Hamamatsu against Tanga Loa on Sunday, 31 March. This is a Road to Sakura Genesis match that will not air live on NJPW World.
The match’s stipulation options have not yet been revealed. In KOPW titles matches, each competitor proposes a set of rules for the match. The match is then decided by a fan vote.

O-Khan, who won the championship at the Road to New Beginning event, has made it clear that he will defend the title all over the country. He will not only be doing so on the tour’s final dates. This KOPW title fight is scheduled for the Road To Live event on March 31. The only way to see the match live will be at the venue. What rules will be chosen by the competitors, and how will this match play out?
Since January, Great-O-Khan is the provisional KOPW champion. He won the title from Taiji-Ishimori. Taichi was the official KOPW champion for 2023.
Loa defeated Great O Khan in the New Japan Cup first round. Loa challenged Great-O-Khan for this KOPW title fight.
