Khan is also interested to have WWE slot machines in Las Vegas.

During his post WrestleMania press conference on Sunday, WWE chief artistic officer Paul “Triple H’ Levesque” mentioned wanting to take WWE to new heights, and do things that no one has ever seen before. He also praised the leadership of the company CEO Nick Khan, both for what WWE is able to achieve now and in future.

A new report released on Monday provided some clues as to what fans can expect in the years to come.

Justin Barrasso, SI’s Justin Barrasso, provided two sources of information about Khan’s planned projects in an interview with John Skipper, former ESPN president & co-founder of Meadlowlark Media.

According to “numerous” contacts around Khan, one of his potential goals is to “engineer a collaborative effort with other professional wrestling promotion.” This is an area WWE has rarely explored in the four decades since Vince McMahon took over. It’s a new arena for Khan to have a lasting influence.

Barrasso reported Khan gave Levesque green light to work together with TNA in bringing in Knockouts champion Jordynne grace for this past January’s women’s Royal Rumble. Rossy Ogawa, the exiled founder of Stardom, was also visible during WrestleMania as he prepared to launch a women’s promotion for Japan.

Khan was also spotted at Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport on a Thursday, taking a photo with GCW founder Brett Lauderdale.

Barrasso’s report did not mention any specific targeted promotions.

The other project is directly related to a Khan talk point that has been around for several years, and even as recent as this past weekend: leveraging WWE intellectual property.

Barrasso noted Khan, according multiple contacts close him, would love to use WWE IP in slot machines at both Las Vegas airports as well as across the strip. Barrasso said that this is more likely to happen than a Las Vegas residency.

NXT will reportedly hold May’s Battleground PLE in Las Vegas at the UFC Apex. WWE has also held events in the area in the past, including 1993’s WrestleMania and SummerSlam in 2021.
