The Bloodline is the new WWE Tag Team Champions.
Jacob Fatu and Tama Tonga defeated DIY’s Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa to win the WWE Tag Team Titles in the main match of Friday’s SmackDown.
Fatu pinned Gargano following a moonsault, and implanted DDT to secure The Bloodline’s victory.
Fatu and Tonga have never won a WWE title before. Tonga Loa, Solo Sikoa, and DIY all interfered with the title match in order to give DIY a way out.
After the match, Fatu & Tonga gave Solo Sikoa their title belts. SmackDown ended with Sikoa posing in front of the gold.
In the opening segment of Friday’s show, Undisputed WWE champion Cody Rhodes announced that his title defense at tomorrow’s SummerSlam will be a Bloodline Rules Match, where anything can happen.
