After Tuesday’s WWE NXT, the No Quarter Catch Crew has reclaimed the Heritage Cup.
No Quarter Catch Crew’s Charlie Dempsey defeated Tony D’Angelo in this week’s NXT to win back Heritage Cup.
Dempsey won 2-1 over D’Angelo using the British Rounds format in the five-fall contest. The deciding win came after Wren Sinclair, of the No Quarter Catch Crew, interfered and cost D’Angelo his bout. The disputed finish gives D’Angelo a way out and sets up a possible rematch on TV in the next few weeks or at the No Mercy PLE scheduled for Sunday, September 1st.
Dempsey is the only competitor who has won the Heritage Cup more than once. Dar, on the other hand, has won the Cup three times.
D’Angelo’s reign as Heritage Cup winner ends after 92 days.
