New Japan Cup Finals Set for 2024 in todays Wrestling news

The New Japan Cup has two final competitors.
The finals will be held on March 20th in Nagaoka. The winner will face IWGP World Heavyweight champion Tetsuya Nairo at Sakura Genesis in April.
The tournament semifinals were held in Fukushima on Monday. Tsuji needed the help of his LIJ teammates in order to defeat EVIL during the show. Goto then defeated SANADA, in the second semi-final.
Tsuji won over Jeff Cobb, El Phantasmo and Ren Narita on his way to the finals. Goto’s route was a combination of wins over Chase Owens and SANADA, as well as a forfeit victory over David Finlay.
Goto is the sole wrestler to have won the New Japan Cup 3 times. He has not won the world title since.
The only other match announced is YOH vs. Yoshinobu Kannemaru.
