New date for the Mike Tyson vs. Jake Paul Boxing Match in todays Wrestling news
The much-discussed Mike Tyson and Jake Paul boxing match will now be held on Friday, 15th November. This was due to Tyson’s recent medical issue.
The event will continue to be held at AT&T Stadium, Arlington, Texas. The co-main event will feature the same rematch between Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano.
Tyson suffered what were called ulcer complications while boarding a plane. The decision was made last week. Tyson’s doctors told him to reduce his training for a time period that was causing concern because of the date that the fight on July 20th was originally scheduled.
The fight between the 58 year old Tyson and the 27 year old Paul was announced for the first time in early March. Tyson will be fighting for the first time since a November 2020 exhibition bout with Roy Jones Jr., which was preceded a 15-year gap of inactivity.
