Natalya surprised everyone with a surprise NXT appearance.
On Tuesday’s show, the WWE main roster veteran accepted a challenge from Lola Vice. Karmen Petrovic confronted Vice during the match after the two had exchanged words recently. Natalya dodged a strike from Vice and countered it with an O’Connor Roll for the win. Natalya celebrated her victory with Petrovic outside.
Vice won the NXT Women’s Breakout Tournament last year, earning her a championship match. She chose to cash out during a match in February between Lyra Perez and Roxanne Valkyria at Vengeance day. Vice was pinned by Valkyria. Vice called Petrovic “basura” or trash, when they confronted each other backstage earlier this month.
Natalya and Tegan Nox have been attempting to win the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles in recent months. However, they were unsuccessful. Natalya made her last appearance on Raw in February, when she lost a Elimination Chamber Last Chance Battle Royal to the returning Raquel Rodriquez.
