The Guinness World Record holder also spoke about a possible movie on the Hart Family.

Natalya says the Dungeon 2.0 was her and TJ’s “love-letter to pro wrestling.”

Natalya told TV Insider recently that their gym is not a wrestling school. It is a wrestling workshop that is only open to those who are intermediate or advanced. It’s a way for them to give back to their industry.

Natalya said:

TJ and myself rented a storage facility. A small warehouse. There is only one bathroom, no air conditioning and a wrestling arena. The only thing you’ll need is passion.

We have friends in every part of the industry. We have friends in every promotion. Our ring isn’t a school that you can enroll in, pay a fee for, or just show up. It’s by invitation only. You need to know someone who knows someone who knows someone who knows someone. It’s a kind of wrestling workshop for intermediate and advanced people.

The Dungeon is our way to give back to the industry. We rent the space. It’s a love letter to wrestling. I love that women in NXT can give back to women in independent wrestling to women who love the industry.

The Dungeon 2.0 has trained many people, including Angelo Dawkins and David Finlay. Natalya was impressed when Jade Cargill asked to train at the Dungeon 2.0.

Natalya continued:

I was honored when Jade Cargill requested to train at “The Dungeon” because she had just lost a mother. I thought to myself, “That’s the kind of woman we can expect in WWE.” I was thinking, “You know what? Someone who is so passionate about this.” She had just lost her parent and thought, “You know what?” This is a way for me to focus on a positive thing and to work hard. I admire her for wanting to train at such a difficult time. “The Dungeon,” is our love-letter to professional wrestling.

In recent interviews, Natalya did not confirm or deny rumors about a possible film on The Hart Family. She wouldn’t confirm that such a movie was in the works but she did say Paul Walter Hauser would be her choice to portray her dad, Jim “The Anvil”, Neidhart.

I am working on a project that is very important to me. I can’t confirm what I’m doing, but I’m very excited about it.

She continued:

If I was going to make a movie, I would choose Paul Walter Hauser to play my father. Paul is a big wrestling fan. He won the Emmy Award, and in his acceptance speech he called out [wrestler] Matt Cardona. Paul’s passion is inspiring. I see old footage and I think, “If there was a film about the Hart family, Paul Walter Hauser would be the director.” I can’t get him out of my head. He must be my father. I love Paul. It’s wonderful that someone from the world of Paul has such respect for us.

Natalya also shared her thoughts about The Iron Claw, a film based on The Von Erich Family, and what her uncle Bret Hart had to say.

I loved The Iron Claw. After watching, I told Bret that this Von Erich film is inspiring and sad all at once. He met my grandpa in Edmonton. My grandfather Stu told him to get into wrestling. If Fritz had not met Stu the Von Erichs may not have been involved in wrestling. Fritz and his family lived in the Hart house, which was owned by my grandfather. It was amazing because I didn’t know that. I didn’t know that when I met Kevin Von Erich, his grandkids, and their parents. They said, “Yeah, we love your family.” The Von Erich family means a lot to my family. Watching that movie brought back memories for me because my dad was one Kerry Von Erich’s last matches.
