Naomi thanked TNA and its staff for welcoming her back at the Royal Rumble, which took place on Saturday.
In a post to X Sunday, Naomi thanked the backstage crew, including Scott D’Amore and D’Lo Brown. She also thanked Gail Kim, Lance Storm, and Tommy Dreamer.
She wrote: “I personally thank @ScottDAmore, @dlobrown75, @LanceStorm, @gailkimITSME and @THETOMMYDREAMER who have believed in me & pushed me through my fears. Thank you for accepting me into your family.” “@ThisIsTNA you have made me better in every aspect! “I thank you with my [heart emoji] whole.”
Naomi made a surprise appearance at number 2 in the Royal Rumble. She lasted more than an hour before she was the 25th person to be eliminated. Jade Cargill threw her over the top rope.
Naomi, along with Sasha Banks’ (Mercedes Mone), left WWE in 2022 because of creative differences with the management. She made her Impact Wrestling debut in April last year, under her real name Trinity. She won the Knockouts championship in July last year. She lost the title to Jordynne grace at TNA’s Hard to Kill Pay-per-View earlier this month. Grace also made a surprise debut at the Royal Rumble.
