Slammiversary will feature a six-way match for the TNA World Championship.
TNA announced on Thursday’s Impact show that Moose would defend the World title at the Slammiversary Pay-per-view, which is set for Saturday 20th July in Montreal.
On Thursday’s Impact, a series of qualifying matches began for the title match. Josh Alexander defeated Eric Young to secure his place.
The final two Road to Slammiversary qualifiers will be played on the July 4 Impact episode.
On the episode airing on June 27, Nic Nemeth will face Rich Swann and Steve Maclin will face Sami Callihan in Road to Slammiversary qualifying matches.
The Road to Slammiversary qualifiers will be Joe Hendry against Jake Something and Mike Santana against Frankie Kazarian on the July 4, show.
