MJF was not able to escape AEW Full Gear unharmed.

During the media scrum following the event, MJF revealed that he dislocated a hip during his match against Jay White on the pay per view. WrestlePurists reports that the injury occurred when he delivered a diving elbow to the floor from the top rope.

MJF placed White on the announce table just before the spot, but the table collapsed and White fell to the ground. MJF went ahead with the move despite the fact that the table was not there to stop his fall. Later, he needed his hip to be popped back in place.

MJF also has a bruised shoulder after taking a top-rope uranage in the match. He is not expected miss any TV time, but could be featured as a non-wrestler to allow him to recover before the Worlds End Pay-per-View on December 30.
