MJF claims AEW incident backstage with Britta Baker was 'blown to proportion' in todays Wrestling news

In an interview with Cultaholic MJF addressed his incident with Britt on the backstage for the first public time.

The incident occurred at AEW Dynamite’s 250th episode, on 17 July. MJF and Will Ospreay faced off in a match lasting just under an hour that night. Baker reportedly spoke negatively about MJF backstage, which led to the incident. Alicia Atout, an AEW interviewer who is dating MJF, told him about the incident and he confronted Baker. The disciplinary committee of AEW launched an investigation into the incident. MJF wasn’t suspended. Baker was fined, given a short suspension and returned to AEW’s programming.

MJF confirmed the incident to Cultaholic, but he said that details such as him barging into a women’s changing room and punching a brick wall were untrue.

“Tell me if it passes the smell test. I barge in to a women’s locker room. “I scream at a 110-pound woman and then punch a wall near her…and I do not get suspended,” said he. “Does this pass the smell test for you? The story was largely a lie.

Everyone has co-workers they don’t get along with. I think this was exaggerated because the English wrestling commentary sites that make money from people like me who are richer, talented, handsome and humble need clickbait.

AEW All-In will feature high-profile matches between MJF and Baker on Sunday, 25 August. MJF defends his AEW American Championship at the pay per view against Ospreay. Baker will be competing against Mercedes Mone in the TBS Championship.

MJF told Cultaholic, that while he and Baker might have their differences, Mone vs. Baker will be an “epic battle.”

“I can sit and say that wrestling is a highly competitive sport. It breeds an insecurity unlike any other. MJF said. “I can tell you from where I sit that the match between Britt Baker and Mercedes Mone on August 25 at Wembley is going to be epic and we should be all excited to watch it. I don’t need to like my coworkers. That’s fine. But yeah, dude. That sh*t was wild.

MJF was in Britain this past weekend to defend his title against Michael Oku, for Revolution Pro Wrestling. Ospreay surprised the audience by making a surprise appearance to promote his All In match with MJF.
