Recently, the former LAX member has been removed from the company roster page.

Mike Santana has left AEW.

He hasn’t wrestled in AEW since the October 25th, 2023 Rampage tape. He defeated his longtime partner Ortiz in the show.

Fightful Select reports that sources close Santana have said he has left the company.

Santana and Ortiz joined AEW in 2019 as Proud N Powerful, quickly aligning themselves with Chris Jericho and Jake Hager to form the Inner Circle. Santana, Jericho, and Ortiz teamed up to defeat Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks at the first episode of Dynamite.

Santana wrestled only three times for AEW after tearing his ACL during the Blood & Guts match in 2022. His first match was Stadium Stampede in All In. The following month, he won a singles match against Bronson. In October, he beat Ortiz.

Ortiz has only wrestled once in AEW since his October loss to Santana. He lost with Eddie Kingson to Bryan Danielson & Claudio Castagnoli in the January 20, 2024 episode Collision.

Santana is still active in the independent wrestling scene of the Northeast. He wrestled Penta el Zero Miedo at a House of Glory event in New York this weekend and also wrestled Homicide in New Jersey the following day.
