Mick Foley, the legendary wrestler, is considering stepping back into the ring for one last time.
Foley, 58, hasn’t wrestled for over a decade. Foley revealed on the final episode his Foley is Pod Podcast that he has given some thought to the idea of losing a hundred pounds and then having a last match for his 60th Birthday. Foley said that it would be a deathmatch:
60 is just around the corner. I’m considering doing one last match for my 60th. Death match. I think it would be a great motivation to drop those big ones [pounds]. It might even be fun.
Foley said that the match would not take place at WWE.
No, no. I don’t believe so, as I think it would make for a pretty gory show. I’m just imagining it. I asked two of my children if they would get hurt. I said, “Yes, probably.”
But I wouldn’t need to rattle my brain, right? I don’t mind a few sticheroonies.
Foley said that the match would not be for everyone. He knows that people will say it’s not good for him. But, he believes the match could help him lose the 100 pounds he wants to lose. Foley said that he needs motivation to lose weight.
Foley said he would love to face Matt Cardona or Jon Moxley.

Foley’s last appearance in the ring came at the 2012 Royal Rumble.
Foley was inducted in the Wrestling Observer newsletter Hall of Fame and the WWE Hall of Fame, respectively, in 2000 and 2013. Foley made an appearance at the 2023 WWE Hall of Fame Ceremony to help induct Stacy Keibler.
