Mark Briscoe wins World Title at ROH Supercard Of Honor in todays Wrestling news

Briscoe won gold 11 years after his brother.

Mark Briscoe, who made his Ring of Honor debut nearly 22 years ago, can now call himself a Ring of Honor World Champion.

Briscoe defeated Eddie Kingston to win his first major singles title.

It’s 11 years since his brother, Jay, won ROH World title.

Briscoe, who was bloodied from having his head rammed against the announcer’s desk, and Kingston had an exciting match as expected. The challenger won after Kingston was pinned with a Jay Driller.

Briscoe’s family and other ROH roster members, including Christopher Daniels, The Undisputed Kingdom and Dalton Castle, surrounded him in the ring. This was much to the delight of the Philadelphia fans who have seen Briscoe wrestle so many times before.

Briscoe entered to Lynyrd skynyrd’s “Gimme Back My Bullets”, the traditional entrance song of The Briscoes.

Kingston has lost his latest title. He entered 2024 as a first-ever Continental Crown holder, holding the ROH World Title, NJPW Strong Openweight Title and the inaugural AEW Continental Class title. Kingston only has one belt left after losing both the ROH and the ROH title on Friday.
