Marigold releases championship belts before debut show in todays Wrestling news
Marigold Dream Star Fighting unveiled its championship belts.
The promotion released images of the United National Championship belt on Wednesday. The Wonder of Stardom belt and World of Stardom belt will be similar to the National title belt.
“For a very long time, the image of women’s professional wrestling belts that we had in our minds was red and white. Rossy Ogawa said, “We will continue the history of women’s pro wrestling dating back to the Showa period.”
The promotion on X wrote: “The United National Championship is a tribute to the title that was first worn by Antonio Inoki and held by such greats as Jumbo Tenryu, Genichiro Tsuruta and so many others.”
Marigold will also host the Twinstar Championships, which is for tag teams, and the Super Fly Championships, which is for wrestlers who weigh less than 55kg (121 lbs).
