Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling’s debut show next month will feature the Ring of Honor Women’s World Championship.
Athena will defend against Gisele at MLP Forged in Excellence. The two-night event will take place in Windsor, Ontario Canada on October 19 and 20. It will be broadcast as a Triller pay-per view.
Shaw announced her retirement from TNA Wrestling in Louisville, Kentucky at the tapings of the promotion earlier this month. She had been working for the company since early in 2022.
Athena vs. Shaw was the third match that has been officially confirmed for MLP Forged in Excellence. Mike Bailey vs. Konosuke Takeshita is the match for night one. Takeshita will face Josh Alexander on night two.
Mauro Rannallo & Don Callis will be the commentary team for this promotion.
