Liv Morgan’s arrest for marijuana possession in December 2023 is captured on video in todays Wrestling news
The case has been resolved. However, video footage from Liv Morgan’s December 2023 marijuana arrest has surfaced.
Morgan (real name Gionna daddio) has been arrested in Florida, on December 14, on charges of possession a synthetic cannabinoid as well as possession of marijuana (20 grams and less). The synthetic cannabinoid charges were dropped in January, because no labs are available in Florida to perform tests that would prove that the synthetic cannabinoid was not derived from plants. Morgan entered a nolo contendere plea in February, and the case was finally resolved. She was not formally found guilty and only had to pay court costs and a fine.
Law & Crime Network has obtained the police bodycam footage of the arrest. The full 26-minute video of the arrest was uploaded on Wednesday.
Morgan was stopped by a policeman who claimed to have seen her struggling to keep in her lane and swerving while driving 20 miles per hour under the speed limit. When the officer approached Morgan’s vehicle, he reeked of marijuana. Morgan claimed that she hadn’t smoked marijuana, but she admitted to having marijuana in her vehicle.
Morgan’s jeep also contained a vape. Morgan said that she didn’t know who owned the vape.
The officers did not know that Morgan was a WWE Wrestler at first, but they learned this through the items in her Jeep. One of the items the officers found was a planner where Morgan had listed her life goals. Morgan wrote she wanted to buy many homes, break into Hollywood and become an Oscar winner. She also hoped to make it to the WWE Hall of Fame and become a multiple-time WWE Champion. She also wanted to have a successful blog, a home abroad, and do voiceovers.
In the video Morgan calls her boyfriend Taylor (WWE’s Bo Dallas).
Morgan was not subjected to any negative consequences by WWE because of the arrest. Morgan will be competing against Becky Lynch at WWE King & Queen of the Ring in this month for the Women’s World Championship. The PLE will take place in Saudi Arabia, on Saturday, 25 May.
Morgan responded to all the attention that the bodycam video received, by sharing a link to a Make-A-Wish charity contest she is involved with.
