Liv Morgan kisses Dominik Mysterio on WWE Raw in todays Wrestling news
Dominik Mysterio’s assist has started Liv Morgan’s Women’s World Title reign.
Morgan retained the Women’s Title on Monday’s WWE Raw, in a steel-cage match against Becky Lynch. She then kissed Mysterio whose assistance gave her the chance to retain.
Braun Strowman’s chase down JD McDonagh was the main storyline of Monday’s Raw episode. This led to Morgan’s cage-match against Lynch.
After Strowman’s victory over McDonagh, Carlito, Finn Balor and McDonagh attacked Strowman. Strowman chased McDonagh throughout the entire show. In one scene McDonagh and Morgan were talking in the back of an arena before Strowman chased them away.
Dominik opened the cage as Balor and McDonagh attempted to stop Mysterio from interfering in Morgan’s favor.
Strowman accidentally slammed Lynch’s cage door shut on his head. Morgan was able to escape and retain.
The USA Network feed cut out before the kiss. Morgan then approached Mysterio after the match. The kiss was shown in the international feed and WWE posted it on their social media channels.
Mysterio sold his kiss as if he were surprised and uninterested.
Mysterio interfered with Morgan’s win of the title over Lynch at Saturday’s King & Queen of the Ring, and a storyline between the two continues to develop after the events on Raw.
