LA Knight is the United States Champion.
Knight defeated Logan Paul and won the United States Championship at Saturday’s SummerSlam. Knight defeated Paul’s lackeys at the end of the match. Paul was able to get the brass knuckles off MGK who was ringside. Knight was able to recover quickly and hit the BFT to win.
Paul was the United States Champion for a period of 273 days before he defeated Rey Mysterio at Crown Jewel in Riyadh last November.
Knight spent the last few months lobbying for an US title match by defeating Paul in a Money in the Bank qualifier match. At one point, he appeared at Paul’s home in Puerto Rico. Paul signed a contract to play in SummerSlam, a match that took place in his native Ohio.
Before their match, Knight arrived at the Prime Energy truck that he had stolen a day earlier on SmackDown. He smashed in one of the windows.
