Kyle O’Reilly will make his return to the ring at AEW collision in todays Wrestling news
O’Reilly’s debut match since June 2022.
Kyle O’Reilly’s return to the ring has been scheduled.
O’Reilly isn’t wrestling since the AEW Dynamite on June 8, 2022. In September of that year, he underwent neck fusion. He suffered a rare complication after surgery that affected his recovery.
O’Reilly’s return fight will be against Bryan Keith at Saturday’s AEW collision. The news was revealed on Wednesday’s Dynamite. Renee Paquette interviewed O’Reilly.
O’Reilly said:
The thought of never again wrestling was the least of my worries for two years. It was the darkest time of my life when I couldn’t pick up my daughter. My neck and arm improved, and now that I am here, I wonder if I still can hang.
It’s the most competitive team in the history. Then I see a guy who makes me very impressed. A guy that I’ve been looking at, so to say, a man who I think can bring ‘that’ Kyle O’Reilly out. We have a duel on Collision this Saturday between ‘Bounty Hunter Bryan Keith’ and myself. This is my first match in almost two years. I’m back in my home country of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.
O’Reilly was promoted at AEW Revoution. He hugged his longtime stablemate Roderick Strong, but seemed to reject the offer to join Undisputed Kingdom. Strong hugged O’Reilly again after the promo above, and wished O’Reilly luck in his return match.
