Kyle Fletcher is one of 10 Team World players who will compete in the CMLL Grand Prix on August 23 at Arena Mexico.
The Grand Prix will take place on Friday, 23rd August. A 10-man Team World will face a 10-man Team Mexico for a tag-team bout.
Fletcher, Rocky Romero of RevPro, Robbie X, Flip Gordon and MLW’s Ikuro kwon are the five members of Team World. The rest of the unit will be revealed at a future date.
Team Mexico already has Mistico (Templario), Titan, Ultimo Guerro, and Atlantis Jr., with the remainder of that group to be revealed.
Atlantis Jr. defeated Fletcher in the ROH Television Championship at Arena Mexico’s weekly Friday night show, June 28.
Fletcher’s appearance at Arena Mexico in August is just the latest example of CMLL’s strong relationship with AEW. The Death Triangle group, which includes PAC, Penta El Zero Miedo and Rey Fenix, was also announced for a CMLL show on Wednesday.
