TNA Wrestling announced recently that they have signed six-time IWGP Junior Heavyweight champion.

KUSHIDA’s relationship to NJPW won’t change after his signing with TNA Wrestling.

The six-time IWGP Junior Heavyweight champion appeared on the Battleground Podcast on Wednesday, and clarified that will continue to work with both promotions.

KUSHIDA stated during the interview that “the relationship between me and New Japan Pro Wrestling is not changing, there’s no need for (change).”

KUSHIDA said that his friendship with Alex Shelley, Chris Sabin and Chris Sabin motivated him to sign with TNA.

“Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin, my friends, are a big reason why I chose TNA.” “These two people have influenced me in my life,” he said.

“I can’t believe that Sabin, Alex Shelley and KUSHIDA are all signed to the same firm!”

KUSHIDA has also listed his goals for TNA Wrestling, now that he is officially signed.
