Kevin Knight, a former NJPW wrestler, will debut in MLW at the end of this month.
Knight will debut at MLW Fightland in a singles bout against Bobby Fish. The match will be part the TV taping portion, which will take place at Center Stage, in Knight’s home town of Atlanta, on Saturday, September 14th.
Knight is a former IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team champion, holding titles with KUSHIDA. Knight recently teamed up with Rocky Romero & YOSHI HASHI to defeat Bullet Club War Dogs, (David Finlay & Clark Connors & Drilla Moloney), at NJPW Capital Collision.
Fish is a member of a newly-formed stable in MLW with The Andersons, (Brock Anderson & CW Anderson), and Brett Ryan Gosselin. They defeated Paul London at MLW Summer of the Beasts.
The Andersons will be in action at Fightland. Their opponents have not yet been announced.
The main card of Fightland will be streamed live on MLW YouTube. Satoshi Kojima will defend his MLW World Heavyweight Championship in the main event against Mads Krugger.
