Okada will appear at the Snake Eyes taping of TNA in Las Vegas.

Kazuchika will be entering a TNA Wrestling arena for the first time since 2011.

Tonight, it was announced that Okada would make his TNA Wrestling comeback at the television taping of the promotion in Las Vegas Sunday, January 14, 2020. The taping is called Snake Eyes. The Palms Casino Resort is the location.

Hard to Kill, Saturday 13th January, marks the official start of Impact Wrestling’s rebranding as TNA. The pay-per view will also be held at the Palms Casino Resort.

Okada was on tour in TNA between 2010 and 2011. In TNA, he was given the nickname Okato with a character based on The Green Hornet.

A video package that was shown during Thursday’s Impact stated that Okada had been denied his chance to shine in TNA, and is now returning to Snake Eyes seeking redemption.

Will Ospreay was also announced for Snake Eyes. Ospreay has signed a multiyear deal with AEW but is still under contract until February 2024 with NJPW.

Okada’s NJPW deal will also expire at the beginning of January. Sports Illustrated reported this week that Okada was “seriously entertaining the idea” of signing with a promotion besides NJPW. This would be WWE or AEW.

Future episodes of Impact will feature matches from TNA’s Snake Eyes tape.
