JoJo Offerman says the main reason why she has been working wrestling conventions, is to give fans a chance to show their support personally.
News 4 Jax interviewed Offerman last month at the River City Wrestling Convention. She said that she had good and bad days ever since her fiancee Bray Wyatt died last summer.
There are good and bad days. She said that most days are very difficult. “But I have always said that Windham, and I, you guys know him by Bray, our relationship was so strong. It was such a beautiful, wonderful thing that it’s what keeps me going. Knowing that we had this type of love, and strength, in what we built for our family, our home, and our life. So, that keeps him going and me strong.”
“The wrestling community and beyond have really helped me, especially people from the company who have stepped in to help me get through many of my days,” she added.
Offerman said that she attends wrestling conventions so that fans can show support in person. She believes that seeing her in person has helped fans cope with Wyatt’s death.
“Honestly, I do this to let people know they can come in and, sort of, show their personal support if they wish, because I think that seeing people like me has helped a lot people cope.”
JoJo said in the interview that, while she is not ruling out a possible return to the ring, she is primarily focused on being a mom.
“I’m a mother, so that’s what I do most often.” Just getting back in the groove, trying some new music, I don’t know, working out again in a ring, who knows, we’ll see, but that’s about it. “I’m just a mother,” she said.
