John Cena has committed to staying a part of the WWE family after retirement.
Cena will become an ambassador for WWE after he retires from in-ring competitions in December 2025. Cena revealed that he has already signed a contract to keep him with WWE for the short, mid and long term future. He said this while appearing on the Club Shay Shay Podcast with NFL legend Shannon Sharpe.
“I’ve had a great relationship with them for over 20 years. I am a brand champion. I love the company. Cena said, “It is my home and they are my family.” “Even after the year 2025, I have already signed a contract to remain a part of the WWE family in the near, medium, and long term future. I don’t believe there will be a single beat of my heart that WWE won’t come from.
Cena is returning to WWE in 2025 for a retirement tour. He plans to work “right around 36” dates during the tour.
Cena told the Club Shay Shay he hopes that the tour is successful for WWE, builds the future of the company and brand, and is enjoyable for the fans. He wants to bring back old memories and create new ones for the audience.
Cena’s retirement date of December 2025 is final. He has said that no amount of money could bring him back into the ring.
