John Cena’s WWE retirement tour will include approximately thirty dates.
Cena told Collider that his retirement tour will include “around” 36 events. The tour will run from January to December 2025. Cena wants one last match in front of WWE fans all over the world.
He replied when Collider asked him about his future acting engagements:
I can confirm with absolute certainty that Peacemaker will bring us to the end 2024. I can say this because I have given WWE the calendar year 2025. I will retire in 2025. I will begin my farewell tour in the month of January and end it in the month of December. It will be around 36 dates in different countries to thank and show gratitude to the WWE fans around the globe. That’s what I will be doing in 2025.
Cena has said the same number before. Cena announced his retirement tour last week. He said he would be working “in the mid-30s or 40s” of dates throughout 2025.
Cena is currently promoting “Jackpot!,” his new film, which will be available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video beginning August 15. He told Comicbook.com he would not return to the ring after his retirement tour was over, no matter how much money he received. He will be an ambassador for WWE after his in-ring career ends, but he won’t put on his wrestling gear again.
