Joe Hendry had a busy couple of weeks. He appeared on WWE NXT multiple times, while also appearing on TNA Impact and in independent appearances. He is the talk of town, as his WWE NXT debut has amassed more than 1.2 million views on YouTube within three weeks. His X video has also received over 17.9 million views.
Hendry, Josh Alexander, Frankie Kazarian and Nic Nemeth will all be competing for Moose’s TNA Wrestling World Title at Slammiversary this Saturday in Montreal.
Hendry, who has never held this title before, is the longest-reigning TNA Digital Media champion, having held it for 266 consecutive days in 2022.
In a recent conversation, we discussed the match and what it meant to him to be crowned champion. He explained why he felt he should win because it was best for his business.
“I’m sorry to everyone else, I think that me winning the TNA World Championship will be absolutely best for business. It’s the fans’ desire and I believe we are in an era when the fans get what they want. I’m going to Montreal to deliver what the fans are looking for. I will be the TNA World Champion. I believe that something special is happening and I think I’m the right guy to be TNA Wrestling’s World Champion. “As amazing as our roster may be, the people in this match were incredible but I feel that this is my time. I also think that the fans felt that too.”
