The legendary commentator announced to X Monday that he had undergone yet another surgery.
Ross wrote:
Another successful surgery is hoped for. Need your prayers
Missy Hyatt responded to his post by saying, “Jr. is stronger than skin Cancer.”
Ross underwent surgery on his right hip to treat cancer last Thursday. Ross wrote later that night on X: “Had cancer surgical surgery this morning on right hip. All went well. “Thanks for your love and support!”
Ross missed several weeks of AEW programming between November and December last year, on the doctor’s recommendation. The 71-year old has been dealing a leg injury due to radiation treatment for skin cancer that he received in the year 2021. Doctors advised him to avoid flying until the wound heals. He was also informed that high blood glucose levels could be affecting the wound’s ability to heal. Ross revealed on his podcast that he was prescribed insulin injections in December to combat his high levels of blood sugar.
