Jim Ross says that a broken hip is responding well to recent surgery in todays Wrestling news
JR has provided an update on social media.
Jim Ross has updated his health status.
The 72-year old posted on social media Tuesday that he was out of rehab and improving every day following a broken hip, and two surgeries.
Ross wrote:
First day at Jax Beach! For now, I’m using a cane. Daily improvement. Broken hip responding well. I am excited for my future at @AEW.
Ross revealed to the public on February 1, that he had undergone a cancer surgery on his right femur, but he did mention his broken hip at the time.
“I had cancer surgery on my right hip this morning. All went well. “Thanks for your love and support!” Ross wrote.
Ross revealed on February 5 that he had undergone another procedure.
“Another successful operation hopefully.” He posted: “Need your prayers.”
Ross also mentioned on his podcast that his contract with AEW expires on February 14, 2024. Ross has said that while there is no confirmation of a new contract, he has spoken to Tony Khan regarding the opportunity to call Sting and Tony Schiavone’s final match at AEW Revival.
Tony Khan agreed. He agreed. It’s only fair. It makes sense.
How can I say that without sounding like an idiot? Schiavone’s and my working together could be profitable. Not only in Greensboro but also going forward, sporadically. We’ve always had great chemistry.
If he and me are doing the match… I think it’s right.
I need to sign up so that I can attend.
