Jim Ross claims to be recovering from a viral infection.
Ross revealed on the latest episode that he felt sick while traveling home. Ross is recovering from a hospital stay and plans to attend Forbidden Door in New York later this month.
Ross said, “I was diagnosed with Virus A. I believe they call it that. “I struggled for a few days, but I overcame it, as I do every time. Seems like I always kick out. “Can’t do any work, you know, not here in Oklahoma.”
Ross said that he was able overcome the virus with the help of both his daughters.
“Anyway, I’m battling. I feel great, in fact. He said he had some appearances coming up, including one with Highspots. “The next time I go on the road, it will be for the AEW Pay-per-View. I’m gonna continue my schedule.” As far as I know, I will be at [Forbidden Doors]. If Tony Khan didn’t want to have me there, he would tell me. But that hasn’t been the case. He’s been a great supporter, which I really appreciate.”
Ross has been battling health issues for most of 2024, including cancer surgery and a broken hip. Ross was originally scheduled to participate in AEW’s Double or Nothing but had to cancel the show due to shortness of breathe.
