Jim Ross hospitalized for shortness of Breath in todays Wrestling news
Jim Ross, a Hall of Fame announcer, was hospitalized Thursday because of shortness of breathe.
Ross posted on X Thursday morning that he was admitted to the emergency department in Norman, Oklahoma due to shortness of breathe.
Unexpected trip to the ER in Norman, this morning. Shortness of breath. This is all I have for now.
The 72-year old AEW commentator shared an update on Thursday evening with a picture of his daughters taken in the hospital.
Ross has had multiple health issues in recent years. He even survived skin cancer. In an interview with Sports Illustrated, Ross revealed that he had recently undergone surgery to replace his hip. He also noted that his health was better than it has been in the past year.
I am happy to report that my health is better than in the past year. My right hip is healing and improving. My radiation wound, which I received for skin cancer (and I am cancer-free) is still healing. Vaping has helped. Vaping has allowed me to stop taking pain medications and get through the night. I’m feeling good. I’m still doing the things I love.
Ross was the last AEW commentator to be at the Dynasty pay per view in April.
