Jesse Ventura, who is currently involved in WWE’s new era of growth, is open to the idea of returning to the company.
The legendary former wrestler, commentator and political YouTube show The Vanguard had him as a guest last week. Ventura stated that he and WWE were “talking again” during the interview now that Vince McMahon is no longer involved in the company.
Ventura said, “I’ll tell you this.” Jesse Ventura has been in contact with them since wrestling chose this new direction. It was important that they take this new direction. I hope you understand what I mean by the new direction. “The direction in which the company is heading was good enough for Jesse Ventura to start talking again with the WWE.”
McMahon quit WWE and TKO, the parent company of WWE, in January this year after allegations of sexual abuse were made against him by Janel Grant. McMahon addressed the allegations in court this week.
Ventura was inducted in the WWE Hall of Fame a year later. He was a guest on an episode Raw in 2009.
Ventura was the governor of Minnesota from 1999 to 2003.
