Full Gear 2024 will be the next chapter of the feud between Jay White and Hangman page.
After White defeated Shane Taylor tonight on AEW Collision, he cut a promo challenging Page, to face him Saturday, November 23, pay-per view. Later in the evening, Tony Khan announced that the match was official. Page will discuss White and the Full Gear match when he appears on Dynamite next Wednesday.
This will be the 2nd consecutive AEW PPV that White and Page will face each other. White won the WrestleDream event earlier this month. This gives him a record of 4-1 over Page throughout their careers. White said in his promo that he was always ahead of Page at every stage. He offered Page the chance to redeem himself by facing him in Full Gear.
Page’s loss at WrestleDream cost White a match with Christian Cage last week on Dynamite. This Wednesday, there was a storyline where Page limped after fending off a Bang Bang Gang attack. White has used that injury storyline in his promotional material against Page.
Page’s only victory over White was at the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament this summer. Christian’s interference led to White losing the match.
Full Gear will be held at the Prudential Center, Newark in New Jersey.
