Jake ‘The Snake Roberts’ re-signs with AEW in todays Wrestling news

Jake “The Snake Roberts” has resigned with AEW.
Roberts revealed in a yet to be released episode of The Snake Pit, that he has agreed to a year-long deal to stay with the promotion.
SEScoops reported the news first and published transcripts of Roberts comments.
Roberts said:
Just to let you all know, I’ll be on AEW another year. It’s true, they signed me again. That’s great news. Looking forward to it.
Roberts has been managing Lance Archer in AEW since early 2020. In November 2023 he also aligned himself with The Righteous’ Vincent and Dutch. He told Marcus DeAngelo, his podcast cohost, that he’d like to bring back his “Snake Pit”, stable to AEW TV.
Roberts continued:
Crossing my fingers – wouldn’t it be something if the “Snake Pit” was restarted? Listen, I would love to speak to Tony about this.
I’m going to pitch it for sure.
Roberts teased that he might do something similar to Chris Jericho’s Rock N Rager At Sea.

Roberts is a special adviser to AEW Together – the promotion’s outreach team. The team includes Paul Wight and Mark Henry.
