Ivar advances to the WWE Speed number 1 contender’s tournament in todays Wrestling news

The WWE Speed Championship’s number one contenders’ tournament began on Wednesday.
Ivar defeated Apollo Crews during the first round. He advances to the semi-finals with the win and will face the winner next week of Tyler Bate vs. Berto, Humberto Carrillo to determine the first opponent for Ricochet.
Ivar only needed two minutes out of the three minute time limit to defeat Crews, who performed a moonsault off the top rope.
Ivar has also defeated Crews twice this year on episodes of Main Event.
The winner of the tournament for the number one contenders will face Ricochet in the WWE Speed Championship. Ricochet won the WWE Speed Championship by defeating Dragon Lee in a tournament that determined the first title holder.
Speed is part a two-year contract WWE has with X. According to The Hollywood Reporter the plan is to create new content 52 times a year for social media platforms.
