Ivar is ‘out-of-action indefinitely’ after Gallus’ attack on WWE NXT in todays Wrestling news
WWE announced that Ivar would be out of the ring indefinitely.
Gallus attacked him, and Wes Lee, in the final moments of NXT Tuesday. WWE has revealed that Ivar was injured and will miss several upcoming scheduled match.
“BREAKING News: Due to the brutal attack by #Gallus, @Ivar_WWE will be out of commission indefinitely.”
Ivar was supposed to wrestle Tyler Bate next Wednesday on WWE Speed. WWE announced today, however, that due to Ivar’s injury, Apollo Crews would replace him in the match. Ivar defeated Crews two weeks ago in the first round at a number-one contender’s tournament for Ricochet’s Speed Championship.
“With @Ivar_WWE out of action due to injury, #WWEApollo received a second shot in the No. The No. 1 Contenders Tournament will take place this Wednesday, and Tyler Bate will be in the Semifinals on #WWESpeed.”
Ivar was scheduled to compete in a triple threat match on WWE NXT the following week. The episode was taped this week, and Joe Coffey from Gallus was substituted in the match. Spoilers for the taping can be found here.
Ivar missed a match scheduled against Andrade in march because he was not medically cleared. He returned to Raw the following Monday, and lost a match against Sami Zayn.
