Impact Wrestling’s final major event in 2023 will feature the Digital Media Championship.
Today, it was announced that Tommy Dreamer would defend his Digital Media title at Final Resolution 2023 against Cody Deaner. The show will be held at the Don Kolov Arena, Toronto, on Saturday 9th December. The show will be broadcast live on Fite TV, Impact Plus, Impact’s Ultimate Insiders, and Impact’s YouTube service.
Since September, Dreamer has held the title of Digital Media Champion after winning it from Kenny King in Victory Road.
Dreamer defended his title against Crazzy Steve on the Impact episode of November 9. Dreamer lost the match by disqualification, but retained his title. Dreamer was disqualified for using a fork to attack Steve. After the match, Dreamer kept attacking Steve with a fork and left Steve bloodied.
Final Resolution is not only Impact Wrestling’s last special event for 2023, but it will also be the last major show of the company before Impact Wrestling rebrands to TNA Wrestling in January 2024 with Hard to Kill.
Final Resolution will also feature Motor City Machine Guns, Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin, vs. Josh Alexander and Zack Sabre Jr. This is Sabre’s Impact Wrestling debut.
