No Mercy, the No Mercy event scheduled for Sunday, has added a special guest referee to the NXT Championship Match.
No Mercy, which is set to take place on Sunday, September 1, will feature the NXT championship match between Ethan Page (former NXT champion) and TNA’s Joe Hendry. Former NXT champion Trick Williams will be the special referee.
NXT GM Ava has added Trick as the referee to the match in the show-closing aspect on this week’s WWE NXT Episode.
Two more matches are confirmed for No Mercy.
Wes Lee and Zachary Wentz, former tag team partners, will face off on Sunday’s show. Lee turned against Wentz earlier in the month to set up this match, which was announced for No Mercy during Tuesday’s NXT show.
The Women’s North American Title bout between Kelani and Wendy Choo, which was agreed on during last week’s WWE NXT Show, was also officially added to the Sunday’s card.
