The Greensboro Coliseum presented commemorative bats to Sting and other performers.
Greensboro says “Thank you, Sting” to everyone.
The city declared March 3 “Thank You Sting Day”, in recognition of Sunday’s final match, which took place there.
Greensboro Coliseum also presented Ric Flair, Tony Khan, Tony Schiavone and Jim Ross with commemorative baseball bats.

Sting’s longtime tag team partner Lex Luger was among the wrestlers who posted on social media to pay tribute to his career.
Sting revealed at last night’s news conference that he had told the Young Bucks Sunday’s match would be among his top three matches of his career. He said, “I left a meeting with The Bucks, and I told them that this was among the top three matches of my career.”
