GCW announces Josh Barnett Bloodsport XI for the month of July in todays Wrestling news
Bloodsport returns this summer.
GCW announced via social media on Monday that Josh Barnett Bloodsport XI would take place at the Roulette Intermedium, Brooklyn, NY on July 28. Tickets will be available this Friday at 12 noon. Triller TV will broadcast the show live.
The bloodsport shows are held in a ring with no ropes, where matches can only be won by knockout, submission or referee stoppage. The GCW has been holding the event every year since 2018.
Bloodsport will hold their first ever event in Japan at the Ryogoku Kokugikan, Tokyo on June 22. The matches announced include Josh Barnett vs. AEW Jon Moxley; Masakatsu Funaki vs. Davey Boy Smith Jr.; Quinton ‘Rampage Jackson’ vs. Hideki Sekoine; and Minoru Suzuki vs. Timothy Thatcher.
The tenth Bloodsport took place during the WrestleMania weekend. The show saw Josh Barnett defeat Johnny Bloodsport, WWE Shayna Bassler defeat Masha Slamovich and NXT Charlie Dempsey beat Matt Makowski. Nic Nemeth defeated Speedball Mike Bailey.
