FTR vs. The Infantry announced as the next AEW Collision in todays Wrestling news
In a Tag Team tournament quarterfinal, the two teams will meet.
FTR and Infantry will meet within two weeks.
AEW announced on Wednesday that the two teams would face off in a quarterfinal in the AEW Tag Team Title Tournament. Due to March Madness coverage, there will not be an AEW Collision episode this week. This match will take place in the next episode on March 30.
The Infantry surprised everyone by defeating The House of Black, (Buddy Matthews and Brody King), on Collision last week. Mark Briscoe interrupted the House of Black after they had taken most of the match. He hit Matthews with an iron chair and distracted King for long enough to pin Matthews.
Two weeks ago, the two teams met on Collision while FTR and Tony Schiavone were discussing the tournament. The Infantry told FTR they respected them but were looking for their own spots and would revive the Tag Team titles. FTR replied by saying that The Revival was dead and if the two teams met in the tournament The Infantry would also be dead.
