A former WWE superstar made their debut at Sunday’s Ring Of Honor tapes.
Sidney Akeem (formerly Reggie in the main roster, and Scrypts for NXT) made his debut in Arlington, Texas. He lost to Johnny TV.
Scrypts’ contract expires in June. It was announced in April. Scrypts was announced to be appearing in Game Changer Wrestling after his departure from the WWE. He defeated Gringo Loco, Myron Reese, and Ninja Mack.
Akeem joined the WWE in 2020. He began as a sommelier for Carmella, and later fought with Akira Tozawa, R-Truth and others over the WWE 24/7 championship. In 2022, Akeem made his debut as a masked NXT wrestler under the nickname Scrypts. After losing his mask he managed OTM, (Lucien Price & Bronco Nima), until his departure from company.
Arlington’s Esports Stadium continues to host AEW for the rest of Sunday’s ROH taped shows. Collision will be the final show in the building on Saturday.
