A warrant of arrest has been issued in relation to the death of a man aged 47 last October.
A former WWE wrestler has been arrested for murder.
A warrant of arrest has been issued for Daniel Rodimer who wrestled as Dan Rodman in several episodes of Heat and house shows.
The warrant relates to the murder of Christopher Tapp, 47, at Resorts World Las Vegas in October 2023. The cause of death for Tapp was blunt force trauma to his head.
The Las Vegas Police Department released a press release on Wednesday.

Update Suspect Identified
The investigation led homicide detectives to identify Daniel Rodimer, 45, as the suspect. Rodimer was arrested on March 6, 2024 for open murder.

On November 22, 2023 LVMPD Homicide received a report of a suspicious death in the 3000 Block of South Las Vegas Boulevard that occurred on October 29, 2023.
On October 29, 2023 medical personnel responded to an emergency call regarding a male who was later identified as Christopher Tapp, 47, who had suffered injuries due to a alleged accident. Tapp was taken to the hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
The LVMPD Homicide detectives learned that Tapp was involved in an altercation within a hotel room before being found and transported to hospital.
The Clark County Coroner’s Office ruled Tapp’s Death a Homicide due to blunt force trauma on the head.

Rodimer wrestled for WWE from 2004 until 2007 after the fourth season of Tough Enough. There was a plan for him to join Randy Orton and Edge as a member Rated RKO at one point. Stephanie McMahon reportedly had high hopes for Rodimer. She viewed the 6ft 7inch, 300-pounder’s future as a star. WWE released him from the ring in 2007, and he retired.
Rodimer only wrestled three times on WWE main roster programming before his release. All of these episodes were Sunday Night Heat. Rodimer’s only victory was on the episode of June 1, 2007, when he beat Eugene.
Rodimer ran multiple times for political office after the end of his wrestler career, including in the year 2020 when he won Nevada’s Republican primary for the 3rd congressional district.
