Trevor Lee (aka Cameron Grimes) is heading to Germany in the summer.

Lee will be returning to the promotion at Shortcut to the Top, on August 10, for the first since 2016. The show will take place at the Turbinenhalle, Oberhausen, North Rhine-Westphalia in Germany.

Lee was released by WWE in April, after working for the company since 2019. He told Busted Open Radio shortly after that “a pretty senior executive” at WWE had assured him that he wouldn’t lose his job.

Lee will also be returning to Elevation Pro Wrestling this summer in Lexington, Kentucky. He has been announced to appear at their show on the 26th of July.

wXw still hasn’t announced the lineup for Shortcut To The Top. Lee is the first confirmed talent for the show. This will be his first promotion since he entered the 16-carat Gold Tournament in March 2016. Angelico eliminated him in the first round. Zack Sabre Jr., who defeated Ludwig Kaiser in the finals, won the tournament the following year. In 2016, Will Ospreay was also a participant in the single elimination tournament. Other participants included Gunther and Drew McIntyre. Timothy Thatcher, Ilja dragunov, Mike Bailey and Swerve. After being eliminated, Lee wrestled on two more dates of the tour. He lost a four-way and then teamed up with Marty Scurll and beat Ospreay to close the tour.
