WWE stars from the past and present appeared on SmackDown.
The WWE Hall of Famer, along with other main roster stars, attended the show in Seattle on Friday. The show celebrated the 25th anniversary of SmackDown which debuted on UPN in August 1999.
During the premiere of Friday’s USA Network, Rob Van Dam, Vickie Roode, Booker T & Sharmell and William Regal were all recognized in the audience. Guerrero’s first WWE appearance since her contract with AEW expired last July was a huge success.
Roode has transitioned from being a front-of-house producer to working behind the scenes as he has been out of commission since 2022 when he had neck surgery.
Gunther and Ludwig Kaiser, Sheamus and Damian Priest, both from Raw, were also in the crowd.
SmackDown marked the return of blue to the USA Network on Friday after a five-year stint on FOX. Along with the new graphics and logo, SmackDown also featured a new theme, ‘Neva Play,’ by Megan Thee Stallion featuring RM from BTS.
