Former WWE NXT wrestler, Scrypts, to make GCW debut in todays Wrestling news
Scrypts will start his post-WWE career next month.
Sidney Akeem will wrestle under the name Sidney Akeem at GCW shows on June 15 in Los Angeles, Dallas on June 29 and St. Louis July 19.
The contract of the 31-year-old with WWE technically does not expire until June 1. Fightful reported that WWE would not be renewing his contract. Akeem uploaded a video on Instagram earlier this month, concluding with the phrase “Available 1 June.”
On Tuesday, Mercedes Mone shared a photo with Akeem. She also included a photo of her slapping back Akeem when he worked as a sommelier in WWE programming.
Akeem joined WWE in 2020, after spending the previous decade performing with Cirque du Soleil’s Luzia and Les 7 Doigts de la Main’s Cuisine and Confessions. He made his WWE main roster debut in the year 2021 as Carmella’s sommelier.
